2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup Nature’s Own (you can buy this at your local grocery store in the spice aisle!)
This is super simple, everything except the honey and the brown sugar you can pour in around the meat, since it will get mixed up and soaked in as it cooks. For the brown sugar and honey, I put the brown sugar all along the top of the meat, and then topped that with the 1/3 cup of honey. As the meat cooked, the brown sugar and honey melted down the sides and mixed with the rest of the ingredients. Cook for around 6 hours, or until you think it’s tender enough! I did 8 hours and it was very tender, but a little dry, so 6 hours should be perfect! My bunny (seen above) raved about this dish, and he’s used to his mom’s amazing meals, so it is definitely approved for the family! Serve with baked beans and corn bread and you have the easiest meal known to man, enjoy!
