As most of you can tell and may already know, yesterday (August 6th) I graduated from the University of Alabama! Yes, I was three months late due to a few changes of my major, but hey I finished, so that’s all that matters. As many of you also know, my blog has been neglected in the last few months, and for that I am terribly sorry. I do have a reason, school. Finishing my degree this summer required me to take 18 hours, which for those of you who don’t know, thats as many hours as you can take in one semester so it was a full course load. If I had not taken those full 18 hours, I would still be taking classes this fall and not graduating until December. But I persevered, mainly because I
hate dislike school and I was ready to get the heck out of there.
Fast forward from May and I have finally finished. 18 hours of elective credits to finish my degree and I am now the proud holder of a Bachelors of Science in Human Environmental Science degree with a concentration in fashion retail. This is good for both you and I; for you because I am now available to blog full time, sharing more amazing outfits and products that you might not have known about before. And for me, because well, schools out forever (cue the music).
My wonderful family came all the way to Tuscaloosa, AL from North Carolina to support me and watch me walk across that stage. Another major change you may notice is that I’m not longer a blonde! Yes, the blonde lasted a total of maybe six months and now it’s back to my natural color. I was told I was not a good blonde, and I don’t take criticism lightly.
I hope for whoever got this far in the post and who has stuck with my blog during it’s down time will continue to stick with me now that I will be available full time to bring you guys some amazing content. And for those who have stuck with me on social media, thank you for dealing with my personal posts the past couple of months, because quite honestly that is all I have had time for. So here I sit, as a brunette, an assistant manager of a beautiful boutique, and a graduate. Roll Tide.
